My Motherhood sessions run for 60 minutes, though I often find the most precious moments unfold within the first 30.

A Motherhood session is an intimate, creative one-on-one experience. At the time of booking, we’ll connect to discuss your vision and the kind of session you’re looking for. During our time together, I’ll take moments to check in and realign with that vision, offering gentle direction to keep the session natural and authentic.

Partners and siblings are always welcome. If they choose to join, I sometimes suggest that Mum arrives first so we can spend the first 30 minutes capturing quiet, uninterrupted moments together. If this option appeals to you, please let me know in advance.

 

 

At our location:


Over the next few weeks we will chat about which special location I will be using for your session. If we are shooting on location I will send you a location pin a couple of days prior to our session date, along with any special instructions about time and place.

Please arrive shoot ready and a few minutes early, so that we can make the most of the time.

- PARKING: At most of my shoot locations there is an abundance of paid parking, however, parking is free if you have a Northern Beaches sticker. If we are at your home then please let me know if there is designated spot for me to park in.

 

 

What to wear to your session:


It doesn't have to be a white robe, please feel free to find something that is YOU! This is about connecting you and your baby (bump) and finding that fine line that represents you both.


I will need to have a visual of your bump, but you need to feel comfortable and connected - how much or little you show is up to you.


Many of my clients love to be photographed nude and I can guide you how we can create nurturing and organic images should you choose to de-robe.


A few outfit tips:


COLOUR! Please don't be afraid to wear colour.

I want you to feel like YOU! Even if you turn up in your partners trackies, this actually looks super cute with a bikini or bra top.


Oversized shirts work well over a bikini or underwear (raid your partners wardrobe).


If you like the 'jeans un-done' look, jeans MUST be oversized and not skinny fit (again, raid your partners wardrobe).


Underwear should be seamless and white + or nude in colour.


I am really happy if you would like to bring 2 or 3 outfits along with you.


If you wish to go nude, please remember to bring a blanket or towel, most locations do not have changing rooms.


For beach sessions there is no need to be wearing shoes.

 

 

Once your gallery is complete:


You will receive a high res online gallery of lightly edited images. From your gallery you can download and save. I will deliver your gallery of 50+ images via email within two weeks of you session date.

I highly encourage you to print your photos (I adore gorgeous tangible products that will not be lost in the digital clutter of our daily lives) once you have had time to choose your favourites you can access my online print store through your gallery. Your sessions cost is inclusive of a $50 print voucher to use in my pro print lab.


Your final invoice will be sent to you via email shortly after your session with me. The cost of your session is $400 deposit + $1000 final payment, a total of $1400 (as of Feb 2026). There are no other hidden costs.


A note on post production:


This session includes a fluid & candid series of shots and standard post production edits in the style of Iris & Me photographic aesthetic.

Any special requests of shots or poses should be discussed and agreed before the shoot.

Custom post production photoshop edits are not included. If available, they are quoted on an image by image basis.
